The property is maintained to a high standard, please help us to keep it that way.

b. The balance of the rent, together with a good housekeeping deposit (please see below), is due 5 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday. If we (the owners of Grey Goose Cottage) do not receive your balance by that date we may assume that you have cancelled your booking and may seek to re-let the property.

c. Once a booking is confirmed by us (the owners of Grey Goose Cottage) in writing a contract is then deemed to be formed.

d. If you book within 5 weeks of your holiday the whole rent is immediately payable, together with any other charges as required.

e. At the time of booking we (the owners of Grey Goose Cottage) require precise details of the occupants to be in the form of: names; a contact address; a contact telephone number; and the ages of any children under the age of 16 years of age.

4. Cancellation: We (the owners of Grey Goose Cottage) do not provide cancellation cover. Should you need to cancel your booking at Grey Goose Cottage, you are liable for the payment of the full rental. Should we subsequently manage to re-let Grey Goose Cottage for that same period, we will refund your payment less a £35.00 administration fee.

If, for any reason, we (the owners of Grey Goose Cottage) need to cancel your booking, we will endeavour to find you another property in the locality and offer this to you. However, should this not be possible, or, this alternative property not be acceptable to you, then we will refund all monies that you have paid to date in full.

3. Occupancy: Grey Goose Cottage is offered only on the understanding that there are no more than 4 occupants. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property including external/outdoor areas. We (the owners of Grey Goose Cottage) reserve the right to refuse, curtail or levy additional charges for any booking, that appears to contravene this requirement.

7. Information: We (the owners of Grey Goose Cottage) believe information on our various websites to be honest and accurate, but reserve the right to alter the details at any time. However, we will always endeavour to inform you of any changes at the time of booking.

 8. Payment terms:

A 50% deposit, or an amount agreeable to both parties, becomes due at the time of booking. The balance is due not less than five weeks prior to the commencement of holiday.

We (the owners of Grey Goose Cottage) also charge a refundable 'good housekeeping deposit' of £200 which is payable with your final rental payment. You will be liable for any costs resulting from damage, extra cleaning or disregard of the booking conditions — you will be billed if the costs exceed the value of the 'good housekeeping deposit'.

The 'good housekeeping deposit' will be used to offset any damage, breakages or losses incurred, or, any unbudgeted costs that arise in restoring the property to the condition in which it was left for you. If all is considered to be in good order following inspection by the owners after your departure, the 'good housekeeping deposit' will be refunded within a few working days.

9. Property: Should any items of property be left inadvertently at Grey Goose Cottage, please contact us and we (the owners of Grey Goose Cottage) will arrange to forward the items. Packaging and postage costs will be chargeable.
